I’m the first to admit I don’t spend much time on my hair. I wash it (sometimes) and then usually just throw it up into a messy bun or ponytail. I’ve tried to be the kind of person who wakes up 30 minutes earlier to blow-dry and style my hair but now, as a nearly 30-year-old (gulp!) I’ve realised that’s probably not going to happen. Ever.
And so I was inspired to put together this post which is basically just a montage of images on how to recreate the traditional ponytail. I’ve been using these images as a reference in the mornings when I’m rushing out the door but want to look like I’ve made at least some effort.
Two products I’ve found really helpful for recreating a more texture ponytail are NAK Dry Shampoo and Label.M Texturising Volume Spray. If I’m feeling really fancy I also spritz my hair with Bumble & Bumble’s Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil before blow drying.
